ZCP

ZCP.exe is a smashing little program that will take your huge zip file and cut it up into perfectly even sized smaller pieces.   Perfect for creating multiple zips of large mappacks, large custom texture packs etc.  Theoretically, you can zip your entire KP directory and then run this program to chop it up into whatever size chunks you want....


Instructions:
1. Zip up your files (maps, textures whatever)  into one big ass file with a shortname,  say for example my.zip
2. Drop to dos (command prompt for all you XP users)
3. Type zcp.exe my.zip 10000000
This will chunk it into my-1.zip  my-2.zip  my-3.zip etc. 10meg chunks each.  When done, rename your new files to whatever you want

*IMPORTANT NOTE*
In order for this process to work the zcp.exe file AND the zip file  you would like split up must exist in the directory your CMD PROMPT is pointing to (or point your CMD PROMPT to where your zcp.exe and zip file are)  It will not work otherwise as command prompt will tell you that zcp.exe does not exist.

This program was forwarded to me by TruZenZuZeX[BC]  (I've always wondered how he was able to split 2 gigs worth of zipped maps in such perfectly even smaller zips.   Now I know :p )
